I like them all.
Husband has been asking for brownies, and lately everything sweet I've been baking has been for something else. Pot lucks, school, work, etc. So I made brownies last night. I just used a box mix but while I was stirring everything together I kept staring down and the delicious looking marshmallows, just within reach from the mixer. I looked over at husband and caught his eye and smiled. He was very excited about the brownies.
Then without a moments hesitation I ripped open the brand new bag of mini marshmallows and dumped half of it into the brownie batter. I poured it into the brownie pan and popped them into the oven. About 15 minutes later i pulled it out and stirred the batter again because the marshmallows were all gooey and perfectly melted for mixing. Back into the oven they went, for the remaining cook time and 5 minutes before they were done I sprinkled the top with the remaining marshmallows from the bag. They got all brown, toasty and perfect.
Topped with a scoop of vanilla and they were the most delicious brownies I have ever made.
I love the line about your husband and the brownies. I can see him looking at them. I bet they were yummy.
